The International Dark Sky Association designated Big Bend as an International Dark Sky Park, confirming its status as an incredible place to stargaze.

What's up this week

In the early evening, look for bright Jupiter with slightly dimmer Saturn to its left. Further to the east, Mars shines bright and reddish. In the predawn sky, Venus is unmistakable in the eastern sky.
