South Pole of Earth

Made using traditional rug hooking techniques, the original piece is 33″ x 29″, made of hand-cut wool and jersey, sari silk, wool roving, wool and synthetic yarn on linen. It was designed based on images taken from astronauts aboard the International Space Station.
