In the wake of the Great Red Spot Amateur astronomer Christopher Go captured these well-resolved views Jupiter's Great Red Spot (GRS) on December 9, 2015. The dark red core and thin black outer ring of the storm are visible, along with storm outbreaks in the wake of the GRS. Due south of the GRS, a white anti-cyclonic storm can be seen interacting with a cyclone. Another storm feature known as the "White Spot Z" is visible on the north equatorial belt.
