Extreme close-up on Imhotep This four-image mosaic of Comet 67P/Churyumov-Gerasimenko is made of images taken February 14 at 14:15 UTC at a distance of 8.9 kilometers from the surface. The mosaic measures about 1.35 kilometers on a side; it has been rotated here to make the apparent horizon horizontal. The image focuses on the stunning features of the Imhotep region, on the comet’s large lobe. ESA / Rosetta / NavCam / Elisabetta Bonora / Marco Faccin
