Changing lakes near Titan's south pole
Changing lakes near Titan's south pole Cassini's RADAR instrument has performed repeat observations of several areas near Titan's south pole and found evidence that the extent of lakes has changed with the changing season. Throughout Cassini's time at Saturn to date it has been late summer in Titan's southern hemisphere. Areas outlined in red are in the same locations before (left) and after (right).
