Ambre’s love for space exploration sparked when she discovered the writings of Carl Sagan. Growing up, Ambre always liked to ask deep questions. She frequently pondered the depth of the Universe to the point of delightful queasiness in the backyard of her childhood home in the South Valley of Albuquerque, New Mexico. But it wasn’t until adulthood that she realized her love for existential concepts paired perfectly with the adventures of the galactic.

Her journey began with the film industry in Los Angeles, but as her love for the Cosmos grew, she became an avid volunteer in the space community. When she couldn’t find enough events to attend, she made them by becoming a NASA JPL Solar System Ambassador. Before joining The Planetary Society, Ambre held positions as a museum guide at the historic Griffith Observatory and as a social media specialist for Space Foundation. She also loves asking other people questions and has interviewed NASA professionals on DART, JWST, Mars 2020, the Nancy Grace Roman Space Telescope, and more.

As Digital Community Manager, Ambre produces and posts content for The Planetary Society’s social media platforms and manages the digital community. She hopes to cultivate a place for anyone moved by the Cosmos to connect, find resources, and inspire others to find their place in space.
