Portraits of comet 81P/Wild 2
These are the two best images of comet 81P/Wild 2 taken by the navigation camera on NASA's Stardust spacecraft. Source images were taken 2 January 2004 at 19:21:28 and 19:21:48 from distances of 237 and 257 kilometers.

Images (n2073 and n2075) taken through the OPNAV filter (Carcich et al 2014). Images were resampled to 10 m/pix resolution (originally 14 and 15 m/pix).
