Fraser Cain has organized a weekly Space Hangout that happens at 1800 UTC on Thursdays, and kindly invited me to participate. This week's lineup included me as well as Nancy Atkinson, Pamela Gay, Nicole Gugliucci, Phil Plait, Alan Boyle, and Jon Voisey. It's a largely astronomical crowd so most of the conversation concerned dark matter and boiling exoplanets and imaging the black hole at the center of our galaxy, but I chimed in with commentary on Phobos-Grunt and spacecraft stitchery and why Titan is an interesting place to explore. Check it out!
I'll have to skip next week's hangout, as I'll be volunteering in my daughter's science class. But I'll be back in the Space Hangout on Groundhog Day, February 2, 1800 UTC. If you do watch and enjoy this Hangout, please give it a "Like" on Youtube or a "+1" on Google.
