According to the latest Venus Express Status Report on ESA's website, the Near Earth Commissioning Phase of the mission has been completed successfully, and the spacecraft is going to be napping for a few weeks as it continues to cruise toward Venus. It's now roughly 9 million kilometers from Earth, on track for its April arrival.
Before Venus Express wakes up again, the Postcards from Venus art contest will have closed, on January 13. Get your entries in!
