Venus transiting the Sun

Venus transiting the Sun
Venus transiting the Sun In June 2012, the world watched as Venus glided across the face of the Sun for over six hours as seen from Earth. NASA’s Solar Dynamics Observatory implemented specially planned operations to view the event in great detail across many wavelengths of light. The results were the best high-definition views of a transit ever captured. NASA/GSFC/Solar Dynamics Observatory
