Uranus in November 2022 Uranus' north pole is covered with a pale haze in this image captured by the Hubble Space Telescope in November 2022. The image was released in March 2023. When the planet reaches northern summer solstice in 2028, the pole will be aimed directly at Earth. Astronomers are studying multiple effects that control how the polar cap changes with the seasons.
