The long and winding road

The long and winding road
The long and winding road From the northwest (top and left), Opportunity drove south from Cape Tribulation and cruised to the top of Perseverance Valley, located at about the 8 o'clock position (just below Tribulation and around the circle). The gold line on this image shows the rover's route from the Eagle Crater landing site to Marathon Valley. The base image for the map is a mosaic of images taken by the Context Camera onboard MRO. Larry Crumpler, of the New Mexico Museum of Natural History and Science, provided the route add-on. NASA /JPL-Caltech / MSSS / NMMNHS
