Scuffed up After being unable to drive upslope to an outcrop of tabular rocks in mid-April 2018,
Opportunity backed up so the rover planners could assess. The scientists noticed this
scuff, pictured above, where the rover wheels had churned up the topsoil. Some of the
scientists were interested in checking out the lighter toned material. But, said MER
