Ridge at the center of Urvara Crater

Ridge at the center of Urvara Crater
Ridge at the center of Urvara Crater Dawn observed this ridge at the center of Urvara Crater on July 5 from an altitude of 75 miles (121 kilometers). We have seen all or part of Urvara many times before, most recently here, with this ridge clearly visible near the top center of that picture. As described in the picture above, the explorer took this picture on its descent north to Occator. We also explained in June that as the low point of the orbit shifts south, the focus of observations shifts from Occator to Urvara. Full image and caption. NASA / JPL-Caltech / UCLA / MPS / DLR / IDA
