Mountainous terrain in central Xanadu, Titan The central part of Xanadu contains a lot of topographic relief. This RADAR image is illuminated from the top; it reveals many spiky north-facing slopes. The peaky terrain is cut by a few apparently smoother valleys or plateaus. Some vertical striping in this image is an instrument artifact.
