A potpourri of public Hubble WFPC2 data

A potpourri of public Hubble WFPC2 data
A potpourri of public Hubble WFPC2 data A random selection of images of "moving targets" imaged by Hubble's Wide Field and Planetary Camera 2, taken during a stroll through the Hubble Legacy Archive. Top row: Europa, Io, and Jupiter. Second row, left: Venus; right: Rhea, Saturn, and below Saturn, Tethys. Third row, left: Comet Hale-Bopp; then comet 8P/Tuttle; then Mars, then a potpourri of objects. The potpourri is, clockwise from upper left: Uranus; Neptune; either Ganymede or Callisto; Vesta; and Ceres. Finally, at the bottom, is the lunar crater Copernicus. All the data are shown at their full resolution. Objects that are closer therefore appear larger. NASA / STSCI / Hubble Legacy Archive / montage by Emily Lakdawalla
