Eagle to Victoria to Tribulation to Perseverance
Eagle to Victoria to Tribulation to Perseverance These images show the routes that Opportunity took from her landing in Eagle Crater to Endeavour Crater, and then along the western rim of Endeavour Crater from Cape Tribulation to the top of Perseverance Valley. After emerging from solar conjunction in early August 2017, the rover drove deeper into the Perseverance Valley. The High Resolution Imaging Science Experiment (HiRISE) camera onboard the Mars Reconnaissance Orbiter (MRO) took the base images for these graphics. Larry Crumpler, a member of the MER science team, provided the annotations. NASA / JPL-Caltech / UA / L. Crumpler / NMMNH
