Dwarf galaxy from JWST
Dwarf galaxy from JWST This close-up of the dwarf galaxy NGC 4449 combines two different images taken by the James Webb Space Telescope, one in the near-infrared and one in the mid-infrared. The blue dots are individual stars, while the orange tendrils correspond to a type of molecule called polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons. ESA/Webb, NASA & CSA, A.
