Astronaut Dave Scott in the Lunar Receiving Lab Dave Scott visits the Genesis Rock in the Lunar Receiving Laboratory on Earth. This piece of anorthosite is one of the oldest rocks ever studied by scientists, who dated it at about 4.4 billion years old.
