Another Laureate for MER In the weeks since life after MER began, some things have not changed. The mission that has won just about every award in the planetary exploration book and then some was honored once again with a “Laureate” March 14, 2019 at Aviation Week Network’s annual black-tie awards event in Washington D.C., for “exemplifying the spirit and innovations” in space science and “transforming” the aviation and aerospace industry.
