Ariel Barreiro joined the team as Senior Executive Assistant to the CEO after first serving as a communications intern through the Zed Factor Fellowship in 2023. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Natural Sciences with concentrations in physics and astronomy from the University of Pittsburgh.
Her career has crossed multiple industries, but a lifelong curiosity about the universe has remained the constant driving force behind her work. She believes science fiction imagines what is possible, while scientific research transforms those ideas into the technologies and systems that shape the future.
Ariel is excited to be part of the Society during this pivotal time and looks forward to connecting with others who share her passion for space exploration and discovery.
