Working at San Juan Pueblo
Working at San Juan Pueblo As March began to shutter, Opportunity hunkered down over a vesicular rock target at San Juan Pueblo. These rocks may be volcanic and with all their holes or voids. Time and research will tell. The site was named in adherence to the current naming theme of stops along El Camino Real de Tierra Adentro. This ancient roadway was a 2,560- kilometer (about 1,591-mile) trade route between Mexico City and San Juan Pueblo, New Mexico. NASA / JPL-Caltech
