Will work for wind Opportunity’s solar arrays probably got pretty dirty during the planet-encircling dust storm that blanketed the Red Planet in June and July 2018 and darkened the skies over Endeavour Crater and Opportunity. Searching for a little levity during a dark time, Stuart Atkinson processed and enhanced this image that Opportunity took some time ago, adding the jokester plea seen on dirty vehicles around the world. A contributor to The Planetary Society’s Amateur Space Images Archive and frequent image contributor to The MER Update, Atkinson has also followed this rover’s journey in his The Road to Endeavour.
