The view ahead, Curiosity sol 960
The view ahead, Curiosity sol 960 After a drive on sol 960, Curiosity contemplated the view to the west and south. The direct course to Mount Sharp lay southwest, through Logan Pass, where bright rocks of the Pahrump unit are in contact with a darker, more resistant unit above them. To the right (west), lenses of resistant material crop out of a low hill. The team decided to divert to these outcrops to check them out in more detail, naming the site "Logan's Run."
