Neptune from JWST and Hubble
Neptune from JWST and Hubble A side-by-side comparison of the JWST composite image and a Hubble image taken by the OPAL program two months apart. The JWST image is at near-infrared wavelengths whereas the Hubble image is in visible wavelengths. The South Polar Feature is visible in both images. Using both telescopes together will enhance the science of both. JWST image: NASA/ESA/CSA and STScI; Hubble image: NASA/ESA/Hubble OPAL program, Amy Simon
