The dark and light bands visible within themme are the feature that we observed to fluctuate over time. The axes on the frames show the azimuth (direction from North in degrees) and elevation (degrees above the horizon) that each pixel observes. The colour bar represents the range of pixel values in each cropped and calibrated image, in units of spectral radiance (commonly known as intensity). C. L. Smith
