JPL Space Flight Ops signal processing center The Space Flight Operations Center at the Jet Propulsion Laboratory (JPL) in Pasadena, CA, pictured here, is where mission engineers and scientists keep track of our spacecraft. Every day, the MER team flight directors and engineers have been checking all the signals from Mars, which are recorded by the Deep Space Network’s extremely sensitive Very Long Baseline Interferometry (VLBI) science receivers or VSRs as the engineers call them in this signal processing center.
