Galileo's orbital tour of Jupiter
Galileo's orbital tour of Jupiter Galileo performed 34 science orbits of Jupiter. Each orbit was named with a letter and number; the numbers are sequential, the letters refer to the moon that was the main science target for each orbit. A stands for Amalthea; C for Callisto; E, Europa; G, Ganymede; and I, Io. Distances from Jupiter are shown in Jupiter radii (Rj = 71,492 km).
