Enhanced view of Enceladus' south pole This view of Enceladus' south pole was created using data from NASA's Cassini spacecraft. To the human eye, Enceladus appears all-white, but here, infrared and ultraviolet views have been included in color to highlight fractures where the moon's subsurface ocean vents into space. The vents are commonly called "tiger stripes." NASA/JPL/Space Science Institute
