Endeavour’s western rim

Endeavour’s western rim
Endeavour’s western rim This image shows segments of the western rim of Endeavour Crater, which spans 22 kilometers (13.7 miles) in diameter. Opportunity has explored parts of the rim since 2011 and has just entered the vicinity of Perseverance Valley in the Cape Byron segment. The view, taken by the Context Camera onboard MRO, covers an area about 9 miles wide. The MER team plans observations in the valley. NASA / JPL-Caltech / MSSS
