Drill hole at Confidence Hills, Curiosity sol 759 Curiosity took this photo of the drill hole at Confidence Hills on sol 759 (September 24, 2014) with its Mars Hand Lens Imager (MAHLI). The hole is 1.6 centimeters in diameter and about 6.7 centimeters deep. It is a merged-focus image product combining information from multiple images that MAHLI took from a position 5 centimeters away from the target as the camera stepped through different focal distances.
