High-Resolution Mosaic of Crescent Dione, 11 October 2005
High-Resolution Mosaic of Crescent Dione, 11 October 2005 Cassini mosaic of Saturn's moon Dione, taken on 11 October 2005 during Cassini's rev 16. This image was taken from a distance of about 22,000 km as the spacecraft was approaching for a targeted flyby. This mosaic combines a high-resolution imaging sequence along the daylit horizon with a lower-resolution image that covers parts of the Saturn-lit nightside not covered in the high-resolution mosaic.
