Apollo 17's replacement fender

Apollo 17's replacement fender
Apollo 17's replacement fender During the first Apollo 17 EVA, one fender of the lunar rover was broken. Astronauts repaired it with maps and duct tape. These three views of the replacement fender come from the ALSEP site (left) after being driven about 100 meters, at Station 2 (center) after 9.3 km, and at the National Air and Space Museum (right) 33 years after the mission.
