ANSMET blogs: So close to the 500-meteorite mark...

I just checked in to the daily blog of the Antarctic Search for Meteorites (ANSMET) campaign and have posted more than a week's worth of their writings, in which Mother Nature plays games with them, alternately giving and taking away. Still, with dogged effort and some snowmobile repairs, they have managed to gather nearly 500 meteorites this season. And there's still just a little bit of time left...
