Chandrayaan-1 live broadcast is underway

Here's the link to the live broadcast.

I've heard such reassuring and familiar things as "range ready!" The sound doesn't always seem to work though. The chairman of ISRO is talking now, but I'm not hearing anything. Still, video alone is good enough to see a launch happen.

There's a lovely shot of the launch pad, in the darkness, with the full moon shining brilliantly in the sky, Chandrayaan-1's goal -- evidently the weather is clear!

It's now ten minutes to launch, I think...

Mark minus eight minutes...

Argh, I seem to have lost the feed!

It's back...they are maddeningly showing silent stock film of the spacecraft under construction, while the countdown continues...

Mark minus one minute and counting...I think we are now looking at a live feed...

It's cloudy there, that clear moon shot must have been on an earlier night...

The Time is Now.
