Remote presentation at a workshop in St. Louis

Well, that was interesting, and it worked surprisingly well. I just gave a presentation about using raw images from planetary missions to a workshop on New Media and the International Year of Astronomy at the Astronomical Society of the Pacific meeting in St. Louis. In a strange combination of low and high tech, I gave the talk using audio and video feed from my Webcam via Skype, as Pamela Gay (Star Stryder) showed my slides using a PowerPoint presentation that I sent her. I could see what was going on in the conference room because they were streaming the conference via Ustream.
The workshop is still going on as I write this; the Ustream channel is here.
Next week I'll post my presentation -- just don't have time this weekend!
