Programming note: I'm going on a pre-Mars landing vacation

This is just a quick note to you all to let you know I'm taking a family vacation to Hawaii to get away from my computer and all things space for a couple of weeks, to rest up for Curiosity's impending landing. I have a few posts queued, so the blog will not go silent, but my Twitter feed will. I will not be reading Twitter. I will not even be reading my email. I will be enjoying the beach and playing Settlers with some friends and eating shave ice with condensed milk on top and doing arts and crafts with my kids. And hopefully I'll be full of energy, ready to dive toward Mars with Curiosity when I come back on July 16. Until then, clear skies!
