Navcam panorama, Curiosity sol 1174: High Dune
On sol 1174 (November 25, 2015), Curiosity finally arrived at the first dune to be investigated at the Bagnold dune field, nicknamed High Dune. This is the stoss side of the active barchan dune -- the wind blows from Curiosity's direction, transporting sand away from Curiosity's view.
