Uranus on November 13, 2011, from Keck A view of Uranus, which features a couple of bright spots and one dark one, taken from the adaptive optics equipped Keck II telescope. The image was taken at a near-infrared wavelength of 1.6 microns.

I had the exceptional good fortune to do the Science Instrument Pointing S/W kn Voyagers I & II, I knew Dr Sagan, Dr. Murray, Charley Kolhase, Ed Stone, and was with them in the SFOF as the images of Jupiter Encounter came in from the Encounters. How exciting!
