Join Dr. Melissa Rice of Caltech as she highlights her favorite images from NASA’s robotic missions to the Martian surface, answers your questions about Mars, and shares the latest discoveries about the Red Planet.
Dr. Rice is a science team member on both the MSL Curiosity and MER Opportunity Mars rovers and an expert on the planet Mars.This is a casual, informative event for the public – no science background is needed to enjoy this discussion.
We will also have a piece of Martian meteorite on hand. Come touch a piece of Mars!
This event is sponsored by The Planetary Society, the world's largest non-profit space advocacy and outreach organization. A representative from the Planetary Society will be there to answer your questions or renew your membership.
