Planetary Society Tells Congress "Reassert Optimism, Inspire Future Generations"

Two weeks ago, The Planetary Society submitted a statement to the Senate Appropriations Subcommittee considering the fiscal year 2011 budget request for NASA. Today, we submitted a similar statement (PDF) to the Senate Commerce Science and Transportation Committee -- the Committee that authorizes the NASA program. We will also submit statements to the House of Representatives, as the consideration of the budget and the new plan for human space exploration works its way through the Congressional process.
