Voyager 2's Titania image catalog

Filed under pretty pictures, amateur image processing, Uranus' moons, Voyager 1 and 2

Go Back

Voyager 2's Titania image catalog Titania is Uranus' largest moon with a diameter of 1,578 kilometers, but has a less geologically interesting surface than the smaller moons Ariel or Miranda. Voyager 2's encounter with Titania was closer than Umbriel or Oberon and afforded the opportunity for a lengthy color image sequence of Titania's rotation.
