Asteroid 2005 YU55 400-meter asteroid 2005 YU55 passed within 300,000 kilometers of Earth on November 8, 2011. Radar astronomers used the opportunity to perform incredibly detailed delay-Doppler imaging of the asteroid, revealing details as small as four meters across as it rotated slowly.
