Enceladus creating the E ring

Enceladus creating the E ring
Enceladus creating the E ring An extended-color (infrared-green-ultraviolet) composite of Cassini images shows the little moon Enceladus jetting water ice and other materials into orbit around Saturn. That material spreads and becomes the E ring, the band across the image against which Enceladus is silhouetted. NASA / JPL-Caltech / SSI
