Eastern edge of the Naukluft plateau, sol 1267 At the top of the image is caprock made of Stimson sandstone. Below it is brighter Murray mudstone. In this location, viewed by Curiosity on sol 1267 (February 28, 2016), the Murray formation appears to brighten closer to the Stimson rock.
