Curiosity at Mount Shields, sol 971 Curiosity took the photos for this mosaic on an outcrop named Mount Shields on sol 971 (April 30, 2015), after a short "bump" designed to put the outcrop within reach of the tools on the robotic arm. The outcrop is located in an area called "Logan's Run," to the north of Logan Pass and to the west of Pahrump Hills.
