Join Southern Illinois University Carbondale, WSIU, and The Planetary Society for a special Planetary Radio Live Solar Eclipse Panel Discussion on Sunday, August 20, 2017, the eve of the Great North American Eclipse. Planetary Radio host Mat Kaplan will lead the interactive discussion from 5:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. CDT at Shryock Auditorium on the SIU Carbondale campus. The program will feature two interactive panel discussions with audience Q&A covering a wide range of eclipse related information from eclipse basics and what to expect, to amateur astronomy and astro-photography. The event is free and open to the public but tickets are required.
