Last chance to sign Ray Bradbury's birthday card, and other business

Topics: events and announcements

Today is the very last day to add your name to the great big birthday card that The Planetary Society is sending to Ray Bradbury on the occasion of his 90th birthday (which will be on August 22)!

In other business, I must apologize to Stuart Atkinson for forgetting to link last week to the 165th Carnival of Space, hosted over at his blog Cumbrian Sky. You can learn more about what the heck a space carnival is here. I've gotten to this post so late that the 166th Carnival is already online at Jason Perry's blog, the Gish Bar Times.

Finally, this week on Planetary Radio, Mat Kaplan has interviewed the director of the Giant Magellan Telescope, and also collected some audio from our very fun open house last week. And for those of you who just can't get enough Planetary Radio, you can also download extended versions of today's show in the links section of the same page.
