This image of LightSail 2 passing through the heart of the Milky Way was captured on 24 August 2019 by Mike Weasner from Oracle, Arizona. LightSail 2 is the streak crossing the middle of the photo; Jupiter is at middle-right and Saturn is at middle-left. Weasner captured the photo using an iOptron SkyTracker Pro and a 188-second exposure (f/2.8, ISO 1600, White Balance 4550K, FL 36mm; slight crop). More information
