COROT (Convection Rotation and planetary Transits) is an extrasolar planet-hunting telescope.

The mission is led by CNES and the ESA. The telescope's two objectives are to search for extrasolar planets with short orbital periods and to perform asteroseismology by measuring solar-like oscillations in stars.
